In an interview on his show, Hideo Kojima’s Radio: Infinity, the iconic Japanese developer announced that the game's filming phase is now complete. This milestone means that all voice acting and motion capture by the cast are finished.
Kojima revealed that the game is now entering the refinement stage. During this period, he and his team will polish scene transitions, optimize controls, and enhance various gameplay elements to ensure the best possible player experience.
He also touched on the first trailer shown during State of Play, explaining that it aimed to reveal the game's theme, visual style, a glimpse of gameplay, and the connections between characters.
Death Stranding: On The Beach is expected to launch exclusively on the PS5 in 2025.
